Rail-Road Combined Land Transit

Rail-Road intermodal shipping is the standard method for moving containerized cargo to and from inland industrial zones. By combining local trailer drayage (for first-mile and last-mile segments) with Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) rail lines, cargo is transported safely.

This combined approach utilizes the flexibility of trucks to access remote factory sites, and the volume capacity of block trains to avoid highway congestion.

Container Drayage & Inland Container Depots (ICD)

Connecting industrial sites to dry ports via structured local drayage routes:

• First-Mile Drayage: Dispatching trailer chassis to pick up ocean containers at factory loading docks, hauling them to ICD dry ports.
• ICD Gate-In Staging: Clearing custom paperwork at the dry port terminal before container boxes are loaded onto trains.
• Last-Mile Drayage: Picking up containers at destination rail yards and hauling them to consignee warehouses.
