House Bill of Lading (HBL) vs Master Bill of Lading (MBL)

Consolidated shipping involves two distinct layers of transport documentation:

• House Bill of Lading (HBL): Issued by us (the freight forwarder) to each individual shipper. It details the specific cargo items, weights, and values of your shipment.
• Master Bill of Lading (MBL): Issued by the ocean carrier to us. It covers the full container box, listing the consolidator as the shipper.
• Delivery Orders: We release individual Delivery Orders (D/O) at destination CFS ports so buyers can collect their specific packages.
